We depart Strand for the beautiful Clarence Drive Route. Photo stops are made the Gordon’s Bay Whale Watching Point as well as Kogel Bay. We arrive in time for a coffee break in Rooi Els. After this we proceed to the Stony Point Penguin Colony. This is truly the highpoint of the tour where you re inside an actual penguin colony (smells like a chicken farm). See and be within touching business of thousands of penguins.
For lunch we visit the Kleinmond Harbour Precinct. Here our guests may eat and shop at the many stores for that very special item to remind them of the day. After lunch we visit Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens to be introduced to South Africa’s unique Fynbos Biome. We follow the R44 to Botrivier and return via the N2, stopping at Peregrine Farm Stall and Tractor Museum. A final photo stop is made at the top of Sir Lowry’s Pass before returning to the pick up point in Strand.
