Premium Quality Touring
Whale Watching
The Experience

This tour takes our guests on a scenic tour of False Bay by sea. Highlights include Seal Island, Kalk Bay, Cape Point and the Whales we may encounter along the way. The tour starts and ends in Gordon’s Bay and is done aboard a luxury deep sea fishing cruiser with bathroom facilities. We drag lures during the tour and if we are lucky we snare a fish or two. Lots of excitement!

Itinerary
09h30
We meet at Harbour Island Marina in Gordon's Bay. Guests are given a short safety briefing by the skipper and are issued with life preservers. We depart Harbour Island at 10a.m., following the coast of False bay in a counter clockwise manner to Seal Island. We spend time watching the seals and maybe we see a Great White Shark. Along the way we could encounter several species of marine mammals including:

Right Whales (July to November), Hump Back Whales (July to November), Orcas ( July and August), Cape Fur Seals, Haveside Dolphins, Bryde's Whales, Common Dolphins, and many more......

12h00
After Seal Island we go to Kalk Bay. We disembark for lunch and some sightseeing.

13h30
We board the craft again and follow the coast to Simons Town, Smitswinkel Bay and Cape Point. We will approach Cape Point from the sea side and our guests will have photo opportunities that land bound visitors not get.

After Cape Point we dash across False Bay toward Rooi Els, Kogel Bay and Gordon's Bay. This is the stretch where we are most likely to encounter whales.

16h00
The tour ends in Gordon's Bay.

Meeting Point and Ending Point
The meeting point and end point is the Gordon’s Bay Angling Club which is located right next to the Harbour Island Slipway.
Note this at Harbour Island and not the Gordon’s Bay Harbour.
